- Orbit made over 400+ domestic flight arrangements from ports all over Australia. For accommodation we booked approximately 1000 room nights in Adelaide. Orbit confirmed all rooms over 3 nights utilising 15 hotels within a 10 minute walk of the Adelaide Convention Centre. All negotiated rates were $5-$15 cheaper than the average group rate at each hotel and included complimentary WiFi. All ground transfers were also organised.
- Orbit provided 8 individual registration sites to accommodate all registrant types – from delegates, exhibitor/suppliers, guests and staff. Each site was unique in set up and customised to the event and relevant to the registrant type. Live reporting was downloadable at any time and customised for each registrant category.
Orbit also provided name badge generation directly from the registration sites.
- Part of the event included Orbit having to create and manage an outdoor, sit down welcome function for over 1400 – close to the Adelaide Convention Centre.
This subsequently and successfully became Adelaide’s largest private event held outdoors. Orbit provided onsite management including 6 onsite Managers & Event staff to manage event, together with 2 dedicated registration specialists.
We are delighted to have been appointed the next Independent Hardware Group Expo.
With the Independent Hardware Group Expo going to Adelaide for the first time, Orbit were instrumental in managing our 2000+ participants registration and travel arrangements and accommodation. Our Independence Dinner was one of the most memorable events of the whole function all in attendance. Their attention to detail second to none and they ensured all bases were covered. We plan on reengaging their services for the next Expo
